Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics or Industrial Engineering with 3-5 years related job experience
  • Passionate, pro-active, hardworking, with good team atmosphere appreciation and humor
  • “Hands-on” and energetic engineer who likes challenges with an innovative attitude
  • Likes to work in a highly automated logistics environment
  • Sees standardizing and creation of new processes as a challenge
  • Great communication skills, comfortable presenting solutions, and a good listener to understand customer requirements
  • Highly communicative in Dutch and English, German is a plus
  • High level skills in MS Office tools
  • Plus: Experience with process optimization within a commercial logistics environment

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing, improving, and implementing new solutions to improve warehouse processes (e.g., changing processes on the floor, WMS system, or adding technology like robotics) to increase performance, reduce costs, and improve quality
  • Contact with all required departments within logistics (operations, IT, transportation, export, compliance, finance, etc.)
  • Participate in engineering projects: review processes, describe changes, and implement them as a project manager
  • Report to the Logistic Engineering Manager and contribute to the further development of department activities
