Job Description

The Lien Resolution Support Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the successful resolution of medical liens. In this position, you will assist our internal team with managing lien files, evaluating documentation, preparing negotiation materials, and coordinating communications with providers, insurers, and internal teams. Your contributions help drive file progress, ensure data accuracy, and maintain compliance throughout the resolution process.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment. This role requires strong analytical thinking, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Information Gathering: Verify provider and vendor contact details via phone, email, or other communication tools.
  • File Support: Assist in managing lien resolution files from intake through closure, under the direction of senior analysts.
  • Document Evaluation: Support the review and analysis of lien-related materials, including health insurance claims, provider billing, medical records, and legal documents. Assist in identifying missing or inconsistent information and escalating issues for further analysis or resolution.
  • Negotiation Support: Assist in the lien negotiation process by preparing documentation, tracking settlement activity, and communicating follow-up needs with providers and insurers. Support senior analysts by gathering data, reviewing billing details, and helping to facilitate resolution communications.
  • Multi-tasking and Prioritization: Support the efficient progress of lien files by balancing multiple responsibilities, meeting internal deadlines, and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
  • Reporting: Prepare summaries, status updates, and data reports to aid in tracking lien activity and resolution progress.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Gather necessary information from internal teams and external stakeholders to support case needs.
  • Compliance: Maintain proper documentation and ensure all activity aligns with internal processes and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in lien resolution, personal injury law, insurance, or a related field preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to juggle priorities with accuracy.
  • Detail-oriented, with analytical ability to spot inconsistencies and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable reaching out to providers, vendors, or legal contacts as needed.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software or CRM tools.
  • Works well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Pay Disclosure

In the states of CA, CO, CT, NV, NY, RI, WA, the total base salary range for this role is $38,000 - $52,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.
