Requirements

Candidates should possess a High School diploma or equivalent, with an Associate degree being preferred. A minimum of one year of experience in health plan operations, claims processing, subrogation, or a related field is required. Proven organizational, reasoning, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with knowledge of applicable rules, insurance principles, and subrogation/NSA concepts. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is also required.

Responsibilities

The Recovery Analyst is responsible for managing subrogation cases, No Surprises Act (NSA) disputes, and overpayment recoveries from beginning to end. This includes researching paid claims, answering inquiries, coordinating with internal departments and external vendors, and adjusting claims based on settlements or overpayments. The role involves preparing documentation, investigating claim situations, ensuring compliance with timeframes, and identifying areas for improvement. Additionally, the analyst will notify vendors and clients of recovery interests, represent Centivo in meetings, and maintain data entry for complaints and appeals.
