Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant experience in Learning and Development or Learning Management Systems, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Knowledge of organizational development

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day support and administration for virtual learning and development (L&D) assets according to established policies and procedures
  • With guidance, provide support and advice to employees and management teams either locally, regionally, globally, or by function
  • Serve on cross-functional teams and share best practices
  • Support the continuous development of the Learning Management System by managing stakeholder expectations and availability of consultative resources
  • Interact with stakeholders to ensure the Learning Management System operates efficiently
  • Provide training on the system and establish usage rights for administrative assistants, HR team members, managers, and employees
  • Support the integration of learning technologies
  • Develop relationships with other departments to ensure the Learning Management System works well with other systems and ancillary products
  • Provide ongoing support for all learning technologies and related systems and processes, including performance management, content providers, hosting services, and competency models
  • Provide training to subject matter experts (SMEs) and Learning and Development staff on Learning Content Management System products and ensure appropriate access
  • Establish and maintain a process for instructional design of all courseware and ensure it is included in the Learning Management System
  • Upload existing online courseware to the Learning Management System for role-based trainers, as required
  • Maintain a process for courseware design that includes tracking and coordinating efforts of SMEs, designers, and technical experts
  • Make recommendations for learning program and process improvements
  • Develop and maintain a network of professional learning and development contacts; stay current on developments and trends in the field; gather information on local competitor practices
