Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and execute learning and development programs in Japan utilizing employees’ current and future abilities
  • Manage overall training delivery and operations activities in Japan efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with organizational policies and standards
  • Apply learning and development knowledge in planning, implementation, and delivery of training programs; conduct training needs analysis
  • Support sourcing, evaluating, and tracking third-party training vendors and programs; manage local vendor contracts and relationships
  • Maintain and analyze organization and individual training metrics to monitor program effectiveness; support metrics gathering systems
  • Research and source training programs/resources or recommend external programs aligned with organizational needs
  • Provide guidance to employees on training programs/policies and arrange participation to allocate resources effectively
  • Coordinate delivery and operations for high-quality training, including logistical support, materials, AV equipment, and classrooms
  • Provide customer service for training registration, cancellations, inquiries; maintain training registration site and monitor enrollments
  • Establish local course costs for open enrollment and intact requests
  • Support other L&D shared goals (e.g., key talent programs, capability building, webinars)
  • Track local training budget, report monthly status and LBE to management
  • Support invoice processing, documentation, and monthly budget reconciliation
  • Support global and local translations via in-country review of content
  • Stay abreast of developments in training, education, industry, and government sectors
