Requirements

Senior Manager or above level with deep technical expertise in forging production and inspection
Able to travel ~25% to DOD and prime facilities
Capable of leading 1-2 Forging Manufacturing Engineers
Deep working knowledge of production and inspection methods for forging across all material types and configurations
Ability to analyze drawings at a technical level for manufacturability
Experience planning forging lines or factories from scratch
All levels from Senior IC to Director encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Oversee drawing reviews, CapEx planning, and automation feedback for forging as part of the Factories as a Service team
Serve as Lead Engineer for scoping, designing, planning, and automation feedback for forging
Analyze customer drawings and current state of production to design, build, and guide automation of forging DFM, production, and inspection lines
Contribute as a key player in factories as a service efforts
Deliver cost/schedule/solutions in partnership with customers and the Federal team
Own CapEx planning, vendor selection, and costing
Recruit and lead 1-2 Forging Manufacturing Engineers
Work with Hadrian’s Automation and Factories Leadership teams to design and ship comprehensive forging production and inspection lines
Assist in building new factories for existing production scope and contribute to manufacturing processes for new products involving forging
