Requirements
- CFP® designation
- MST or PST location preferred
- 15+ years of member-facing financial planning experience with a significant focus on pre-retirement and retirement planning
- Exceptional follow-up and typing/written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build connections with members
- Flexibility with hours to accommodate member meetings 2 nights per week
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn
Responsibilities
- Conduct 4-6 virtual member meetings per day to help them achieve their retirement goals by acting as a financial life coach, motivating them to take action to progress their plan
- Deeply focus on pre-retiree/retiree issues, including Social Security claiming strategies, Medicare options, coordinating income sources (pensions, annuities, portfolios), and estate plan integration
- Build trust and credibility in order to foster strong, long-term relationships with members remotely and provide a consistent, high-quality member experience with each interaction
- Motivate members to take action on any appropriate recommendations, emphasizing the importance of integrated solutions like tax-optimized investment withdrawals as a core part of their retirement plan
- Effectively and ruthlessly manage your calendar, time, and other tasks to ensure efficiency
