Candidates should possess strong technical skills in Microsoft Windows Server, O365, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, VMWare and Virtualization support, along with experience troubleshooting network switches, routers, and firewalls (CISCO, HP, and Draytek). Current Microsoft certifications and experience with ITIL are highly desirable, as is assertive communication skills, both written and verbal. Extensive hands-on experience troubleshooting support issues across numerous enterprises is essential.
The L2 Helpdesk role involves creating and modifying security and group policy changes, administering routers and switches, managing email and Office365 accounts, troubleshooting SharePoint issues, resolving unavailable services, printing problems, and performance issues. It also includes enrolment into Microsoft Intune, monitoring and maintaining daily backups via Datto, liaising with third-party software vendors, and serving as the first point of contact for issue resolution.
