Requirements

Candidates should possess hands-on experience with network protocols and standards, including Dynamic/Static Routing, Layer 2 & Layer 4, and a strong expertise in Cisco, Arista, and/or Juniper switches, routers, and wireless hardware, along with a deep understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, NAT, ACLs, and routing protocols.

Responsibilities

The Network Engineer II will administer and maintain the organization’s layer 2/3 network solutions in the enterprise, data center, and hybrid cloud environments, perform hands-on configuration of Cisco IOS/XE, Arista EOS, and Juno OS systems, support and optimize routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc. and VLAN/VXLAN topologies, partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand their needs and translate them into network solutions, leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and manage network configurations using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines, document network changes, incidents, and projects to maintain a knowledge base for future enhancements, and provide clear communication during critical incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimal business impact.
