Requirements

The candidate must be 21 years of age or older, possess the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, and have a desire to continually develop retail sales skills and knowledge of product and services. Prior experience as a store associate or customer service representative, along with prior experience in a team environment requiring professional communication skills, is preferred. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and strong interpersonal skills are necessary for establishing customer and team relationships.

Responsibilities

As a Key Holder, the individual will be responsible for opening and closing the store, operating the alarm system, identifying problems with working conditions, assuming management responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant Manager, and driving sales in all departments. They will also provide excellent customer service, replenish and maintain inventory, perform cashier functions, follow proper age verification policies, ensure accurate prices and quantities, process refunds and exchanges, balance the register drawer, bag or box purchases, maintain store safety standards, assist in promotions and events, observe BRS vehicle policies, deliver items to customers following delivery routes and time schedules, inform the manager of vehicle operating condition problems, and maintain all safety standards for BRS deliveries.
