Responsibilities

  • Develop and perform all sales strategies in assigned market
  • Drive primary sales, secondary sales, and ensure brand presence in defined markets
  • Supervise/manage the distributor network to achieve desired sales objectives and ensure achievement of financial and ethical objectives
  • Develop customer management plan
  • Approve expiry products issue credit note for distributors under control
  • Recommend appointment and credit limits of distributors
  • Develop, execute, and plan resource utilization
  • Participate in Strategy Execution review meetings to ensure alignment
  • Plan for monthly and quarterly business
  • Plan demand generation and fulfilment
  • Monitor actual sales and mid-course corrections to reduce variance against expectations
  • Conduct prescription audit for Abbott brands and competitor brands
  • Create and update customer list with specified number of doctors/chemists as per therapy/product requirement and maintain in physical/electronic format
  • Identify potential towns and appoint distributors and customers (trade) in line with business philosophy
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly sales targets by promoting company products ethically
  • Conduct science-based discussions with doctors and chemists for product promotion
  • Organize Camps (CME) as per division strategy and customer needs
  • Facilitate successful new product launches by identifying/targeting customers, meeting at intervals, effective promotion, and providing feedback
  • Execute customer management plan ensuring 100% doctor coverage, customer call average as per plan, market intelligence collection, and retailer-level inventory management
