Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field. Hospital Nurse or Perfusionist background welcome
  • 3–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical/medtech access or sales
  • Experience in Cardiology and pharmaceuticals used in operating room environments (strong advantage)
  • Existing network of cardiac surgeons (plus)
  • Fluency in German and good English
  • Deep understanding of national and local healthcare systems
  • Proven ability to open new markets and drive access strategies
  • Resilient, strategic, and self-driven personality
  • Passionate about advancing patient care and integrating innovative treatments

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary driver for establishing and expanding relationships with all key and secondary accounts, effectively opening doors and unlocking sales opportunities
  • Develop and execute a regional access and sales strategy aligned with company goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, prescribers, and healthcare decision-makers
  • Identify and prioritize target customers through CRM analysis and customer record management
  • Create and implement a territory business plan to ensure product availability in hospital pharmacies
  • Support the introduction of novel therapeutic approaches by engaging with healthcare professionals and facilitating integration into clinical practice
  • Educate stakeholders on the value proposition of the product portfolio
  • Identify access barriers and develop tailored solutions to gain market entry and drive adoption
  • Lead local market access initiatives and support internal teams with training and market insights
  • Ensure product availability after successful price negotiations with heads of pharmacies in cooperation with Market Access team
