Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of software development experience with a strong background in system architecture
Proven track record in Java-based enterprise application design and deployment
Advanced Java programming skills
Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Framework (at or above the level of "Spring Framework 6: Beginner to Guru" course)
Hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools including Kubernetes, Docker, Google JIB, Gradle, GitLab Pipelines, Helm Charts, ArgoCD, and Vault
Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native design
Proficiency in Git version control
Ability to analyze legacy systems, reverse engineer, and extract business rules/logic
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and CI/CD practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

Lead initiatives independently and drive results in complex technical landscapes
Tackle architectural and development challenges with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach
Ensure smooth and effective communication within internal teams and with clients
Foster a culture of cooperation and continuous improvement
Deliver high-quality code using Java and Spring Boot
Analyze existing systems to extract and communicate embedded business logic and rules
Facilitate smooth modernization or integration of legacy components
Work with modern DevOps tools and platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, Google JIB, Gradle, GitLab Pipelines, Helm Charts, ArgoCD, Vault)
Act as a sparring partner and mentor for Business Analysts, Backend Developers, Frontend Developers, and QA/Test Engineers
