Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field, along with 5+ years of experience working in Insurance or Financial Services, and 5+ years of experience in an architect role or senior developer with a hands-on focus on coding. Strong knowledge of Azure cloud environments is desired, and a minimum of 7 years of overall development experience is required.

Responsibilities

The Applications Architect will be responsible for evaluating, designing, and building solutions to meet organizational business needs leveraging software, hardware, or infrastructure, working with business and tech teams to build out solutions for requested enhancements and new software deliverables. They will also review developer code to ensure alignment with existing design patterns prior to release, provide coaching to the development team, build and ship code to meet all new or enhanced software deliverables, participate in various meetings as a key member of the IT organization, support business initiatives to onboard and integrate new sources of revenue, support the development of annual budgets for information technology projects, serve as a technical liaison with direct relationships between IT, business owners, clients, and other external partners, and collaborate with internal and external partners to support implementations, security, and compliance while minimizing risk.
