Position Overview

The Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG), a global leader in advertising and marketing services, is seeking Interns to join the IPG IT team. IPG IT provides essential information technology services across IPG's global network, focusing on process efficiencies and cost savings through shared IT services. This specific internship opportunity is for an Enterprise Service Desk Intern located in Omaha, NE, with a preference for a commitment of one year or longer.


About IPG IT Services:

IPG IT offers a comprehensive suite of services, including:

  • Enterprise Service Desk: Provides technical support and escalation for numerous IPG operating companies and sites.
  • Hosting: Manages four enterprise data centers and supplies core hosting equipment for IPG's business operations.
  • Global Messaging Services: Delivers a unified messaging platform encompassing email, Active Directory, and mobile communication.
  • Global Network Services: Offers centralized support and management for the organization's global data and voice services.
  • Application Support: Provides assistance for a variety of business applications.
  • Project Management: Oversees system transformation and integration initiatives.
  • Field Service Operations: Delivers on-site IT support for hardware and account administration.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Must be a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Majoring in Computer Science, BIA, MIS, FinTech, or another technical field.
  • Must successfully complete IPG Background Investigation and Reference Checks.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. for purposes other than practical training.

Compensation Details:

The rate for this position is $16.00 per hour. The final rate may depend on various factors including current/former employee ranges, market considerations, budget, tenure with the company, and the applicant's background, experience, and qualifications.


Security and Compliance:

All IT staff are required to familiarize themselves with and comply with all information security and compliance rules, regulations, and policies.
