Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of required procedures, methodologies, and/or application standards, including Payment Card Industry (PCI) and security-related compliance
  • Ability to analyze, refine, and document business requirements
  • Expertise in analyzing existing systems to detect deficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Skills in planning, designing information systems, and implementing updates within guidelines
  • Capability to research new technological advances and assess compliance with systems requirements
  • Experience in RFP and vendor selection processes
  • Proficiency in providing technical architecture and support across applications, defining software/hardware requirements, and infrastructure planning
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and capacity planning
  • Ability to write or modify software programs, including analysis, specifications, code, installation, and documentation for multiple application/user database systems
  • Skills in configuring software/hardware, tracking errors, data movement, and troubleshooting
  • Experience soliciting and incorporating feedback from internal customers and IT teams

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and functional areas to design IT Roadmaps illustrating architectural complexities and system interactions
  • Analyze existing systems to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Plan and design information systems and implement updates within established guidelines and objectives
  • Research new technological advances to assess current practices for compliance and recommend solutions for system needs, process improvements, and controls
  • Assist in RFP and vendor selection processes and make recommendations for future information system needs
  • Provide technical architecture and support across applications and guidance to functional areas on software/hardware requirements, infrastructure planning, and capacity planning
  • Maintain information systems by configuring software/hardware, tracking errors/data movement, and troubleshooting
  • Solicit and incorporate feedback from internal customers and IT teams to align solutions with user needs and business objectives
  • Lead by example in adopting best practices for secure, high-performance architectures and serve as a trusted advisor for stakeholders
  • Be a subject matter expert on responsible solutions, understanding strengths, weaknesses, and relationships between components
  • Act as an escalation point for troubleshooting P1 issues and offering remediation solutions
  • Work with Product Owners to ensure safe and sustainable delivery of vision and visibility into product roadmaps
  • Take ownership of architectural technical debt, facilitate creation of work items into the backlog, and advocate for prioritization
  • Work with Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Engineering, Security, PMO, and Implementation teams to identify/plan improvements, create modern solutions, prepare Reference Architecture, and solidify reusable architecture
  • Work on POCs for new architecture, cloud offerings, standards, and software
  • Maintain Architecture and Standards within implementation teams and ensure best practices are followed for sustainable, scalable products
  • Ensure new implementations follow approved architecture or submit new standards as needed
  • Support in the diagnosis and resolution of new issues
