Requirements

Candidates must have a strong track record in Private Markets sales with a deep understanding of relevant investment products and strategies for both Institutional and Wealth offerings. They should possess natural gravitas, strong interpersonal skills, and the credibility to build internal and external relationships. An extensive and well-established network, particularly with strong connections across Institutional and Wealth channels, is essential. A clear understanding of global and local investing trends and challenges, along with a full suite of skills in running campaigns and fundraising processes with recent examples of success, is required. Experience working within a well-regarded private capital firm (in-house, private funds group, or placement agent) is necessary. Fluency in an Asian language is also a requirement.

Responsibilities

The Investor Relations Vice President will identify potential new investors and develop strategies to generate interest, cultivating relationships to successfully raise capital across Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Greater China. They will manage the sales process from sourcing to closing, including negotiating commercial terms, and build the Pantheon brand within the region. Responsibilities include managing and enhancing relationships with distribution partners, working with senior management to ensure high-quality client service, and representing Pantheon at industry events. The role involves initiating, executing, and hosting local seminars and roadshows, coordinating and reviewing presentation materials, performance data, due diligence materials, and RFP content. Additionally, they will relay current market trends and client feedback to Pantheon investment teams and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and Pantheon policy.
