Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the life sciences/medical device industry, with a strong consultative sales background
  • 3–5 years in a top consulting firm within the healthcare environment and a track record of establishing relationships in large-scale, long-term projects
  • Proven ability to engage and build relationships with senior and C-suite stakeholders across diverse organizations, including investors, government agencies, and healthcare providers
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic planning skills, with experience in pipeline management, project prioritization, and market intelligence, with strong knowledge of healthcare market dynamics
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of collaborating effectively with cross-regional teams and leading through influence to enhance account management capabilities
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation and account management, with a history of achieving growth targets and building long-term partnerships
  • Fluency in English and Turkish (Lean Six Sigma an asset)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Strategic Accounts Managers and the Salesforce to drive lead generation and develop new business opportunities
  • Build strategic relationships with target accounts, understand their needs and priorities, help shape their value agenda and articulate relevant solutions and value propositions
  • Implement a disciplined prioritization framework to target high-potential IHS projects in key markets, focusing resources where the impact will be most significant, and making sure each project fits with Medtronic’s long-term objectives, with the goal of supporting existing and future Strategic Accounts opportunities
  • Develop customized service offerings and value propositions specifically designed for existing and future strategic accounts, in order to differentiate Medtronic from competitors by tailoring these offerings to the specific needs of each project, ensuring relevance and appeal for all key stakeholders involved
  • Coordinate internally to ensure a smooth and integrated sales process, lead deal negotiations and manage the closure of IHS deals
  • Coordinate the solution delivery to ensure that planned business outcomes are met for the customer and Medtronic
  • Manage IHS accounts on an ongoing basis, ensure satisfaction and value generation, identify and harness next waves of opportunities
  • Lead the business development activities of the IHS team in Turkey, Central Asia, Kazakhstan and Pakistan, by building relationships, understanding the evolving healthcare landscape, and aligning Medtronic’s comprehensive portfolio and services to meet the needs of existing and future strategic accounts
  • Develop and execute business plans to maximise the potential of IHS in the healthcare market
