Requirements

Candidates should have prior experience with field work such as construction, security systems, or low voltage wiring, and prior knowledge of operating a bucket truck. They must be comfortable driving a work van or pickup truck, using power tools, motor vehicles, and heavy equipment, and working on ladders at high heights. Handyman-like experience is preferred, along with good time-management, organization, and communication skills, a desire to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and general tech knowledge with the ability to learn new software. Basic computer skills in Office Suite, Google Suite, and email are also required.

Responsibilities

The Installation Technician will install poles, including digging holes, mounting solar panels and external batteries, and affixing license-plate reading cameras. They will work on equipment at heights up to 30 feet using bucket trucks or ladders, repair minor breaks in underground irrigation or wiring, and provide installation pictures via a mobile app. Technicians will also perform administrative tasks like inventory management and receiving shipments, meet with customers to discuss installation options and conduct site surveys, and interpret traffic control plans to identify proper installation locations, all while working safely and professionally.
