Requirements

  • Recent graduate of Collin College or Dallas College with eligible degrees or certifications (Level 1 Certificate in Electronic Engineering Technology, Level 2 Certificate in Electronic Engineering Technology, or Associate of Applied Science in Electronic Engineering Technology)
  • Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Possess a valid state driver’s license
  • Lift and move up to 60 lbs. (some ladders weigh 50-60 lbs.)
  • Weigh less than 275 lbs. (required for ladder safety)
  • At times work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.)
  • Be available for overtime, emergency callouts, and holiday work
  • Identify wire and cable colors
  • Qualify on pre-employment assessments

Responsibilities

  • Install the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services at customers' homes and businesses
  • Provide seamless installation and activation of state-of-the-art technology
  • Elevate the customer experience and deliver best-in-class service
  • Introduce customers to the world’s most robust network
  • Solve problems independently while working at customer sites (e.g., putting in a new line, climbing a ladder, plugging in and activating a Wi-Fi network)
