Candidates should possess 7 or more years of working experience, ideally in the financial sector centered in trading of equity, credit, and derivative products, and a service-oriented mentality focusing on exceptional responsiveness, accountability, timely completion of tasks, and teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with diligence in task tracking, documentation, cross-training, and information sharing to continuously improve technology service delivery. Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and network engineering and administration, as well as experience with Microsoft identity platforms, Microsoft 365, and multi-cloud computing platforms is essential. Expertise in management of monitoring and alerting tools, data protection operations, process/task automation, and service management tools (ITIL, ITAM, ITSM) and IT Project management is also needed.
The Infrastructure Engineer will provide foundational technology, engineering, security, and support systems that power the innovative services at Capstone Investment Advisors, partnering with professionals across the firm to deliver cutting-edge solutions to interesting problems. They will contribute to the management of a globally distributed hybrid technology infrastructure, ensuring infrastructure performance, reliability, and security through the use of monitoring and alerting tools, as well as the implementation of data protection processes. The role involves a commitment to continuous improvement through documentation, cross-training, and information sharing, and the application of scripting languages for automation.
