Requirements

  • Deep hands-on expertise with enterprise networking (Cisco ASA, HAProxy, VPNs, routing/switching)
  • Strong familiarity with Azure and AWS networking services
  • Passion for building secure, resilient infrastructures
  • Availability for core day shift operations and mandatory off-hours critical incident coverage
  • Experience with configuration, deployment, and maintenance of core networking components across on-prem and cloud (Azure/AWS) environments
  • Experience with routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure including Cisco ASA, Opnsense, and HAProxy load balancers
  • Experience with Active Directory / Azure AD, ensuring proper synchronization and access control
  • Experience with network segmentation, zero-trust policies, and content filtering frameworks
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), ExpressRoute, Private Link, and Network Security Groups (NSGs)
  • Experience with AWS VPCs, Transit Gateways, Security Groups, and hybrid VPN connections
  • Experience with PRTG, Zabbix, or similar tools for network performance monitoring

Responsibilities

  • Manage configuration, deployment, and maintenance of core networking components across on-prem and cloud (Azure/AWS) environments
  • Oversee connectivity between data centers, cloud regions, and customer VPN tunnels
  • Maintain routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure
  • Monitor and optimize network performance
  • Administer and rotate SSL/TLS certificates and VPN credentials
  • Support integration with Active Directory / Azure AD
  • Maintain and enhance network segmentation, zero-trust policies, and content filtering frameworks
  • Collaborate with the Security and Compliance teams on vulnerability management and log encryption
  • Design and support Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), ExpressRoute, Private Link, and Network Security Groups (NSGs)
  • Manage AWS VPCs, Transit Gateways, Security Groups, and hybrid VPN connections
  • Collaborate with Cloud Engineering to ensure secure interconnectivity between PatientKeeper cloud components and on-prem resources
  • Create and maintain detailed network documentation
  • Participate in knowledge-transfer and shadowing process
  • Proactively identify “single-point-of-failure” processes and propose mitigation strategies
