Requirements

Deep hands-on expertise with enterprise networking (Cisco ASA, HAProxy, VPNs, routing/switching)
Strong familiarity with Azure and AWS networking services
Passion for building secure, resilient infrastructures
Availability for core day shift operations and mandatory off-hours critical incident coverage
Experience with configuration, deployment, and maintenance of core networking components across on-prem and cloud (Azure/AWS) environments
Experience with routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure including Cisco ASA, Opnsense, and HAProxy load balancers
Experience with Active Directory / Azure AD, ensuring proper synchronization and access control
Experience with network segmentation, zero-trust policies, and content filtering frameworks
Experience with Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), ExpressRoute, Private Link, and Network Security Groups (NSGs)
Experience with AWS VPCs, Transit Gateways, Security Groups, and hybrid VPN connections
Experience with PRTG, Zabbix, or similar tools for network performance monitoring

Responsibilities

Manage configuration, deployment, and maintenance of core networking components across on-prem and cloud (Azure/AWS) environments
Oversee connectivity between data centers, cloud regions, and customer VPN tunnels
Maintain routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure
Monitor and optimize network performance
Administer and rotate SSL/TLS certificates and VPN credentials
Support integration with Active Directory / Azure AD
Maintain and enhance network segmentation, zero-trust policies, and content filtering frameworks
Collaborate with the Security and Compliance teams on vulnerability management and log encryption
Design and support Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), ExpressRoute, Private Link, and Network Security Groups (NSGs)
Manage AWS VPCs, Transit Gateways, Security Groups, and hybrid VPN connections
Collaborate with Cloud Engineering to ensure secure interconnectivity between PatientKeeper cloud components and on-prem resources
Create and maintain detailed network documentation
Participate in knowledge-transfer and shadowing process
Proactively identify “single-point-of-failure” processes and propose mitigation strategies
