Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in managed care, hospital, or a similar healthcare environment, along with statistical analysis skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Tableau or PowerBI, is required. Strong communication skills are necessary to articulate findings to multiple stakeholders. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare data is also needed.
Responsibilities
The Informatics Manager will leverage technology and data to improve healthcare outcomes by designing, implementing, and maintaining health information systems, analyzing quality healthcare data, and applying statistical analysis to create effectiveness analyses and other health outcomes analyses. They will support Medicaid markets on analysis of key improvement activities and interventions, lead management of the quality data, reporting, and analytics function, conduct thorough literature reviews, design and implement dashboards using PowerBI, Tableau, or similar systems, determine best approaches to define data models and reporting, convert data analysis results into meaningful business information, and perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis to achieve operational targets.
