Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Outcomes, Healthcare Economics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or a related field. They must have at least 3 years of experience working with healthcare data, including medical and pharmacy claims data. Proficiency in manipulating data frames, conducting analyses, and creating graphics using Python, R, and SQL is required, along with experience in cross-functional collaboration to define analysis objectives and deliver results. Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and prioritize tasks is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Health Outcomes Data Scientist will derive insights from large, diverse real-world health datasets to support the company's mission. Responsibilities include using Python, R, and/or SQL and advanced statistical methods to assess program impact, creating presentations and reports for the Data Science team and cross-functional stakeholders, participating in critical reviews of methods and implementation strategies within the Data Science team, and performing ad-hoc analyses to address customer inquiries and reporting needs.
