Requirements

Candidates must reside in the United States and be willing to travel for two annual Common App Retreats. A Bachelor's degree in business, non-profit management, sales, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience, is required. The role necessitates 2-4 years of experience in member relations, customer service, account management, project management, or communication. Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and listening skills are essential, as is the ability to guide individuals through complex processes, manage multiple milestones, and maintain strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. The candidate must be a quick learner, capable of understanding and educating others on various technologies, platforms, and processes, and possess a professional demeanor with a positive attitude. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite is necessary, with experience in Salesforce, Acuity Scheduling, WebEx, RingCentral, and Liaison CAS software being ideal. Familiarity with Common App software or the organization, analytical ability, and experience in member relations or admissions are also advantageous. A passion for higher education is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Implementation Specialist will support the onboarding of new member colleges and universities by providing technical expertise and acting as a subject matter expert on the Common App product suite and implementation process. This role involves serving as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of new members, assisting with onboarding, training, configuration of school-specific requirements, sharing industry trends, and providing pertinent information and support.
