Job Title: Implementation Consultant

Position Overview

Altera, a member of the N. Harris Computer Corporation family, delivers health IT solutions that support caregivers worldwide. We are seeking an Implementation Consultant to join our team. In this remote Canadian role, you will be cross-trained to deploy numerous Altera applications to our clients. You will also provide workflow consulting services by following a structured workplan that reflects our methodology through all phases of the implementation life cycle, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions.

• Location Preference: Canada, with a preference for the Winnipeg, Manitoba area.

Salary Range

• $57,810 - $66,482 CAD

Responsibilities

• Implement Altera software at client sites.
• Perform all project workplan tasks in accordance with contracted project scope.
• Perform system configuration tasks and provide system configuration consultation to clients.
• Provide workflow consultation and guidance to clients.
• Identify, resolve, and/or escalate system and workflow issues that arise throughout implementation projects.
• Provide activation support and meet or exceed client utilization targets.
• Set appropriate expectations with clients and manage them throughout the project life cycle.
• Anticipate client needs, place clients at the center of your thinking, and function as the client advocate.

Qualifications

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required.

Experience:

• 2+ years of healthcare implementation/configuration experience.
• Preferred:
  • Clinical background.
  • Technology background (e.g., SQL or SSRS reporting).
  • EHR experience / workflow knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Altera's Sunrise application.
  • Client presentation experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Demonstrated history of quickly learning new information.

Skills:

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Skilled at managing numerous key priorities simultaneously.

Travel Requirements

• Up to 80% travel to client sites is required if the candidate does not live in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Working Arrangements

• This is a remote role. Candidates may live anywhere in Canada, with preference for Winnipeg due to client location.
• Standard work week or as defined by assignment requirements.
• May require after-hours, on-call support, and/or holidays.
• On-call and after-hours work during peak times (e.g., end of month/quarter/year) may limit Paid Time Off (PTO) to meet business needs.
