Position Overview

SweedPos, a product-driven startup building an all-in-one cannabis retail platform, is seeking an Implementation Manager to join our team remotely. This role is crucial in building a scalable, proactive Implementation function and will be part of the early foundation of our evolving Customer Success organization. You will help define what great onboarding looks like and directly impact the customer experience from day one.

Team Structure

  • Total Team Size: Approximately 200 people.
  • Development Team: Distributed globally, organized into cross-functional product teams (8-12 members each) including front-end/back-end developers, QA specialists, and analysts, led by a Team Lead and Product Owner.
  • USA-Based Team: CEO, account managers, and customer success team work closely with the development teams to align product development with business and user needs.

About the Role

As part of the newly formed Implementation Team, the Implementation Manager will be a key player in onboarding new dispensary clients onto our POS platform. You will serve as the project owner during the pre-launch phase, guiding customers through their setup journey to ensure a smooth, confident transition into go-live and long-term success. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in structured environments, enjoy problem-solving, and are passionate about helping clients feel confident and supported while adopting new technology.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary project coordinator for onboarding dispensaries post-sale, from kickoff to go-live.
  • Lead and manage implementation calls, data migration tasks, platform setup, and training.
  • Ensure launch readiness for new clients.
  • Work cross-functionally with Support, Product, Sales, and Account Management to ensure smooth handoffs and clear client expectations.
  • Help improve and maintain internal onboarding documentation, checklists, and customer guides.
  • Track implementation performance using internal tools and dashboards, identifying areas for improvement in product, processes, templates, or tools.
  • Act as a voice of the customer during early adoption to ensure product fit and user confidence.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in the onboarding flow and documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience with customer onboarding, project coordination, training, or platform support.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with excellent structured organizational skills.
  • A systems-thinker mindset—always looking to improve how things work.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and/or cannabis retail operations (inventory, compliance, METRC, etc.) is a significant plus.
