Position Overview

The IFG Sales Strategy Leader serves as an advisor within Innovative Financial Group (IFG), a rapidly expanding insurance brokerage affiliated with Humana. IFG provides agents with a robust platform that leverages industry-leading technology and offers a comprehensive portfolio of insurance products, including Medicare solutions, life insurance, and financial planning services. Renowned for its commitment to agent success and client satisfaction, IFG emphasizes agent support through tools, training, and resources designed to help agents build their businesses.

In this role, the Sales Strategy Leader delivers data-driven strategic direction to identify and address business challenges and opportunities across IFG. The position is responsible for providing business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments or the organization at large, serving as a trusted advisor to functional teams. The ideal candidate possesses broad, advanced technical experience and delivers expert guidance to support IFG’s business objectives in alignment with Humana’s overall mission and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems using data from internal and external sources.
  • Leverages expertise and identifies subject matter experts to support cross-functional efforts in data interpretation and strategic planning.
  • Develops actionable recommendations and plans based on comprehensive data analysis.
  • Ensures alignment of policies and procedures with the organization’s vision.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates team members to ensure efficient operation of the function.
  • Collaborates with senior executives to develop and implement segment or enterprise-wide strategies.
  • Advises on significant areas, programs, or functions and provides recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrates advanced subject matter expertise across multiple knowledge and functional areas within the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8 or more years of technical experience.
  • 10 or more years of Medicare experience.
  • 5 or more years of management experience.
  • Strong Financial Acumen.
  • Experience working in complex operating models.
  • Previous and successful leadership experience.
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree.
  • Experience working with or for large distribution organizations focused on the life and health space.
