Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 7 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or payer performance roles, with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, along with experience in denial management, EOB interpretation, and AR/cash collection strategies. Experience working in a matrixed environment and supporting or leading payer-focused teams is required, as is a strong understanding of payer behavior, reimbursement trends, and post-claim RCM workflows. The ability to travel up to 25% is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Payer Partner Lead will oversee, mentor, and audit the Strategic Payor Partner team, serving as a resource for complex payer issues and advising on escalations. Responsibilities include conducting audits of root cause findings, overseeing payer performance trends to identify systemic gaps, and partnering with cross-functional teams on response plans. This role involves supporting leadership with KPI dashboards and compliance reporting, developing SOPs and workflows for the SPP team, and tracking the execution of payer remediations. Additionally, the lead will contribute to process improvement recommendations, create team scorecards, and manage process quality standards.
