Requirements

Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including manual/power tools, electronic testing devices, and control devices
Experience and training related to gas processing fundamentals, computers and related software, governmental rules/regulations/codes, company policies/procedures including safe handling practices for flammable gases/liquids/high pressure systems, and Reliability Based Programs
Experience reading and interpreting repair orders, mechanical drawings, procedures, charts, diagrams, dials, gauges, and equipment manuals
Experience preparing, processing, or verifying maintenance and repair records, safety and environmental reports, electrical schematics and diagrams, pressure readings, and material and supply orders
Knowledge of the use and function of reciprocating or gas turbine engines, compressors, and electronic and processing equipment applicable to position
Knowledge of instrumentation, electronics, tools, and control systems
Ability to apply addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and algebraic formulas
Ability to communicate and/or exchange written and verbal information and instructions
Heavy Work physical demands: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds frequently, and 10 to 20 pounds constantly; frequent standing and walking

Responsibilities

Install, operate, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate/adjust, and maintain equipment including calorimeters, gravitometers/densitometers, chromatographs, telemetering systems, moisture analyzers, ESD systems, electronic odorization systems, flow computers, pH and conductivity probes, instrumentation, meter tubes and orifice plates, satellite equipment, analytical equipment, SCADA systems and remote terminal units, DCS, and PLC systems
Perform preventative maintenance and/or analytical testing on compressors/engines, drivers, and auxiliary equipment
Maintain electrical power circuits, switch gear, and power distribution including high voltage
Perform and/or observe measurement equipment witness tests
Install and maintain security/intrusion systems
Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles
Maintain, calculate, and prepare reports and records including maintenance and repair records, safety and environmental reports, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and diagrams, pressure readings, material and supply orders, loop sheets, meter tube/orifice plate ratios, and orifice and positive meter flow rates and capacities
Responsibilities may include DOT covered functions such as operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline; remain alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions
