Requirements
Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of verifiable work experience in the HVAC industry, along with a High School diploma or GED. EPA certification is required, and NATE certification is preferred, demonstrating knowledge of fundamental operational functionality of residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment, and the ability to troubleshoot problems with refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.
Responsibilities
The HVAC Service Technician will perform thorough and accurate HVAC inspections, carry out HVAC repairs and replacements adhering to applicable codes, facilitate orders for necessary parts, submit purchase orders, communicate effectively with customers regarding questions and concerns, train and mentor apprentices, maintain a courteous demeanor, and possess knowledge of refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems.
