Strong understanding of Jewish, Catholic, and conservative school values and hiring expectations is required, alongside proficiency in managing applicant tracking systems, job boards, and HR tools, and excellent communication skills with discretion in cultural sensitivity.
The HR & Recruitment Specialist will lead the strategic recruitment, evaluation, and placement of highly qualified Title I instructors within Jewish and Catholic educational institutions, developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract candidates aligned with school values. This role involves managing job postings, actively sourcing candidates, conducting initial interviews, evaluating resumes and backgrounds, coordinating background checks, collaborating on hiring processes, and maintaining consistent communication with school leadership to facilitate smooth onboarding and staff integration. Additionally, the specialist will provide general human resources support, address HR-related concerns, and participate in team meetings to align recruitment efforts with institutional goals.
