Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Financial Planning, Finance, Economics, or Accounting. A minimum of ten years of financial planning experience, with a strong preference for High-Net-Worth experience, is required. The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation is mandatory. Additionally, candidates must obtain Series 6 or 7 FINRA registration within 180 days of hire and hold a state insurance license, or obtain it within the same timeframe. Proven experience in developing and presenting comprehensive financial plans, strong consultative, communication, and analytical skills, and advanced knowledge in tax optimization, estate/legacy planning, and business succession/exit planning are essential. Proficiency with financial planning software and/or Excel is desired. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships and articulate complex financial information to diverse audiences, are crucial.

Responsibilities

The Wealth Planning Lead will collaborate with team members and advisors to create financial plans focusing on estate planning, business succession, tax optimization, executive compensation, and risk mitigation. This role involves providing in-depth case consultations, reviewing legal and financial documentation, and designing advanced planning strategies. Responsibilities include analyzing client financial situations, modeling concepts using software, and presenting recommendations to advisors and clients. The Lead will also build relationships with internal stakeholders to address unique client needs and ensure timely delivery of financial advice. Empathy, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to client satisfaction through timely responses are expected.
