Responsibilities

  • Support and execute targeted Healthcare sales strategies to gain market share, achieve region and individual annual business goals, and support GSC Healthcare initiatives for profitable sales growth
  • Identify customer and prospect needs to assemble product mixes that deliver solutions and achieve business objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, chefs, and sales team members; champion team selling process using Salesforce; leverage sampling to close sales
  • Support execution of prioritized sales strategies through direct selling and engagement at Sysco events (e.g., Healthcare Seminars with CEU accreditation) and regional industry events (e.g., tradeshows, ANFP, AHF chapters, AHCA, SDA)
  • Market and support Sysco Healthcare value-added services; provide local customer support, nutritional system tools, referrals to consultant RDs, and emergency preparation recommendations
  • Act as single point of contact for Healthcare, connecting regions to Global Support Center (Healthcare Team, VPNAs/Sr. NAMs); maintain understanding of Marketing Team and third-party integrations
  • Conduct local customer business reviews with recommendations on cost-saving and efficiency opportunities; provide local coordination for NCOB new customer onboarding
  • Provide feedback to specialty companies and merchandising on product quality, integrity, mix, customer satisfaction, perceived value, and competition
