Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Strategic Customer Success or Key Account Management in high-growth B2B SaaS startups
  • Proven track record managing a few large, complex accounts with $1M+ in ARR or equivalent scope
  • Expertise in managing multiple stakeholders at executive, operations, and contributor levels
  • Consultative approach to working with every level of the business
  • Hands-on and autonomous in navigating ambiguity and taking ownership
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills
  • Comfortable with weekly local travel and in-person meetings

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities and contract renewals
  • Partner with EvenUp product and executive teams to develop and execute long-term success plans aligned with customer objectives and business outcomes
  • Lead a portfolio of 5-10 key accounts, ensuring they receive personalized, high-touch support and strategic guidance
  • Be present with clients at least once a week, building trust, understanding evolving goals, and ensuring alignment
  • Advocate for customer needs internally, providing insights to Product, Finance, and Engineering to improve offerings and align on goals
  • Develop and execute on-site account engagement strategies
  • Ensure outcome-focused advocacy and provide insights to internal stakeholders to improve offerings and align on goals
  • Work closely with executive stakeholders, operations leaders, and contributors to understand their goals and deliver outcomes
  • Navigate ambiguity and take ownership in complex account management situations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer feedback is woven into product and service enhancements
