Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Understand and communicate technical nutrition concepts and research to veterinarians to drive interest and create advocates for nutrition
  • Understand key industry trends, opportunities, and KOL networks; communicate relevant insights to clients for business value
  • Understand highly technical nutritional research findings and their implications for clients
  • Lead all in-practice nutrition training activities with veterinarians and clinic staff to maximize nutrition impact
  • Consult with veterinarians and horse owners to develop protocols improving horse wellness and performance
  • Educate horse owners on technical nutritional information through methods like barn meetings, vet clinic events, and one-on-one interactions
  • Lead account team nutritional training to ensure self-sufficiency in product information, nutrition concepts, and protocol development
  • Quantify and qualify differences between Platinum Performance products and competitors
  • Establish rapport and credibility with clinics by questioning to understand customer needs, drivers, and aspirations to create sales opportunities
  • Proactively seize selling opportunities through demonstration and consultative selling
  • Increase adoption and support implementation of Platinum Performance product line (equine-focused, including petcare) with veterinary clinics, horse owners, trainers, veterinary schools, and KOLs
  • Call on key equine veterinary clinics, horse farms, equine events, and KOLs
  • Execute Platinum Performance strategy and manage accounts, leading internal teams as needed
