Candidates should possess at least 12 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience with a proven ability to consistently deliver top-tier tech talent. A minimum of 6 years of experience successfully leading and scaling high-performing recruiting teams, with a demonstrated track record of driving measurable improvements in hiring outcomes, process efficiency, and team development in fast-paced tech environments, is required. Experience supporting or partnering with fast-moving technical organizations in startups or growth-stage companies, a strong operator mindset, familiarity with structured interviewing, competency design, and inclusive hiring practices are also necessary. A curious, growth-oriented mindset, strong storytelling, and influence skills with senior leaders and hiring managers are essential.
The Head of Technical Recruiting will own and evolve the full-stack recruiting strategy for technical functions, ensuring alignment with company goals and workforce plans. They will partner strategically with technical leaders to understand team needs, define role requirements, and maintain a high bar for hiring quality. Responsibilities include owning recruiting metrics, recruiting directly for critical roles when necessary, and leading, managing, and developing a team of technical recruiters. The role involves designing and implementing structured, equitable, and data-driven hiring processes, leveraging data insights to optimize hiring velocity and elevate hire quality, and collaborating with the VP of Talent Acquisition on employer branding, systems, interview training, and hiring manager enablement. Championing diversity and inclusion by embedding inclusive practices at every stage of sourcing and hiring is also a key responsibility.
