Position Overview

This is a career-defining opportunity to join PlayStation and redefine the future of gaming by shaping the talent force that drives it. We are seeking a bold, visionary Director of Talent Acquisition to lead our global recruiting efforts. This role offers the chance to transform how we hire world-class talent, lead high-impact initiatives, steer executive hiring, elevate our DE&I strategy, and craft innovative, people-first approaches to attract and engage top-tier talent worldwide.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead and Grow: Coach a team of experienced recruiters to achieve significant goals and embody our values of collaboration, continuous improvement, and unmatched hiring support.
  • Partner with Purpose: Collaborate with global leaders to understand their needs and co-create strategies for bringing the right people into the organization.
  • Elevate DE&I: Embed inclusive hiring practices from initial contact through to the final offer, guiding managers with best practices and raising the standard for diversity and inclusion.
  • Drive Process and Change: Identify successful processes, address inefficiencies, and lead updates to simplify and strengthen our hiring engine.
  • Track What Matters: Utilize performance metrics to inform decisions, demonstrate progress, and foster continuous improvement.
  • Be the Bridge: Work closely with Global HR Leads and HRBPs to ensure alignment, transparency, and connection to the broader people strategy.
  • Represent the Brand: Serve as the internal and external face of PlayStation recruiting, building strong relationships and bringing energy and integrity to all interactions.

What You Bring

  • Broad Experience: Deep experience across multiple business areas, including eCommerce, Sales, Group Functions, and the EMEA landscape.
  • Consultative Skills: Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and shape significant hiring decisions.
  • Executive Search Expertise: Proven experience in executive search, including mapping, sourcing, and assessment.
  • Brand Passion: A genuine passion for the PlayStation brand and culture, with the ability to communicate this story authentically.
  • Data Fluency: Proficiency in using data and insights to drive smarter actions and accelerate progress.
  • Resilience: The ability to navigate complexity, solve problems, and adapt with ease.
  • DE&I Mindset: A genuine commitment to fairness and inclusion, integrated into all aspects of your work.

Working Model

PlayStation offers a global hybrid office/remote working model called Flex Modes. This model combines the flexibility of remote work with the benefits of in-person collaboration. The principle is to work together in person when required by the work, with the freedom to work remotely otherwise. Fully remote candidates who can travel for 'Moments that Matter' will also be considered.
