Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product design, with a significant portion of that time spent working on complex B2B or SaaS products
  • 5+ years of design leadership experience, with a proven track record of building, managing, and developing high-performing, multi-level, global design teams (including managing managers)
  • A compelling portfolio or a demonstrated track record that showcases your ability to lead design for complex, large-scale products

Responsibilities

  • Define the Vision: Own and articulate the overarching design vision and strategy for Front, ensuring it aligns with our company goals and drives the future of our product
  • Lead & Develop a Global Team of 20+ Product Designers in SF, Paris and Santiago: Lead, mentor, and grow our global team of product designers and managers. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture that empowers designers to do their best work. Develop career paths and growth opportunities for your team members
  • Drive Craft & Quality: Champion and elevate the craft of design across the organization. You will be the standard-bearer for quality, establishing processes and systems that ensure we ship polished, thoughtful, and impactful work
  • Be a Strategic Partner: Act as a key member of the product leadership team, collaborating closely with peers in Product Management, Engineering, and Go-to-Market to shape our product roadmap and business strategy
  • Champion the User: Be the ultimate advocate for our users in all product decisions. Drive a culture of deep user empathy and leverage research and data to inform our design direction
  • Scale Design Operations: Implement and refine design processes, operations (DesignOps), and systems to create efficiency and excellence as we scale, ensuring seamless collaboration across our global teams
