Requirements

Candidates must possess an MBA in marketing, business, or a related field and have over 10 years of leadership experience in brand or marketing strategy, preferably within the trading, investing, D2C financial services, or fintech industries. A minimum of 5 years of experience building and leading teams of 5 or more, experience with companies of 250+ employees, and managing marketing budgets of at least $10M are required. Proven success in building and scaling consumer brands, a strong understanding of driving business metrics through brand initiatives, and expertise in creating engaging content strategies are essential. The ideal candidate will have a go-getter mentality, a blend of analytical and creative thinking, the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term growth, a propensity for innovation, excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to influence outcomes in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

The Head of Awareness Marketing will develop and execute integrated brand campaigns across all channels to drive brand differentiation, awareness, consideration, and equity. This role involves defining brand voice, messaging architecture, and brand strategy, as well as driving brand content strategy through PR, partnerships, and owned channels. Responsibilities include partnering with other marketing teams to create content that supports acquisition, engagement, and retention, developing community-building strategies, launching creative partnerships, and fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation. The Head of Awareness Marketing will also be responsible for navigating regulatory requirements and compliance in financial services marketing, driving rapid decision-making, building influence networks, championing initiatives, removing team blockers, and building business cases for strategic initiatives.
