Candidates must be willing to live within 30 miles of the designated sales territory. A BA or BS degree in Marketing/Sales/Retail Management or an equivalent combination of experience is required, with 1+ years of marketing/sales/retail experience preferred. Experience in the outdoor, sports, or athletic industry is highly preferred. Knowledge of performance athletic footwear, sports bras, apparel, accessories, their technologies, biomechanics of human motion, and injury prevention basics is preferred. Basic knowledge of retail math, inventory management, product merchandising, and retail selling skills is necessary. Strong organizational skills, including budget management, and excellent communication and presentation skills are essential. The ability to work independently and within a team, along with a hardworking attitude and strong interpersonal skills, is required.
The Guru Field Representative will lead field support efforts for Brooks across all distribution channels within their territory to increase market share and sell-through at retail, amplify product leadership, and build brand recognition. They will support sales and marketing teams with product launches, in-store merchandising, and grassroots programs, while collaborating with sales management and marketing on sell-through programs and promotions. Gurus are accountable for achieving established sell-through goals and educating retail associates, runners, and affiliates about Brooks technology and products through clinics, visits, and events. They will represent Brooks at national and local running events, manage product seeding and corporate card budgets, complete expense reports, maintain company vehicle appearance and functionality, and provide feedback on products and competitors. Additionally, they may be featured in product videos for various platforms.
