Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer. Strong experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling is required, along with proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Lead Data Engineer will design and implement data infrastructure solutions, collaborate with vendors on data flows, and act as a subject matter expert for a data domain to support enterprise business needs. They will also design complex data structures, analyze and document datasets, support functional requirements gathering, contribute to program/portfolio management, and maintain a deep understanding of industry best practices and regulations. Furthermore, they will analyze current vs. future state processes, design and maintain infrastructure, ensure information security and compliance, recommend technical developments, maintain operational compliance, and drive enterprise infrastructure modernization while performing horizon scanning.
