Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or tech operations
  • Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise internal and external initiatives, and manage time effectively
  • Exhibit a grasp on the HR and FinTech sales space
  • Be analytical with solid strategy, research, presentation, and expert negotiating skills
  • Have an exceptional track record of nurturing noteworthy business relationships in Korea
  • Worked for a SaaS, HR, payroll, or fintech company (preferred)
  • Thrive in a leadership role (preferred)
  • Been a part of an ultra-fast-growing startup (preferred)
  • High market knowledge with significant C-suite connections in Korea
  • “People-person” who is self-driven and can implement systems, processes, and growth strategies

Responsibilities

  • Build the foundation and strategy for our direct sales and partners in Korea
  • Lead the brand and drive business by executing the GTM initiatives for Korea
  • Develop, nurture, and convert qualified leads
  • Conduct regular training and enhance the sales team’s knowledge and understanding of the Deel platform
  • Identify new business opportunities and research potential clients and deals
  • Oversee deal-structuring, contract negotiations, and closings
  • Manage the prospective pipeline, create presentations, and conduct demos and proposals when necessary
  • Assess, grow, and lead the current sales team to get companies and their workers using Deel across Korea and beyond
  • Help build and optimise scalable processes to sustain growth across geographies
