Senior Sales Account Manager

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or business-related field, with a minimum of 15 years of proven success in selling sophisticated software, electronic components, connected car technologies, or similar solutions. They must have a track record of exceeding sales quotas, meeting strategic objectives, acquiring new accounts, and prospecting to establish connections at all levels within organizations. Furthermore, candidates should have experience selling to automotive players and a strong understanding of the automotive ecosystem, along with 10 years of experience negotiating with OEM’s or Supplier’s procurement department.
The Global Account Manager will be responsible for acquiring new businesses within the German mobility markets by focusing on major German Tier-1 suppliers, including ZF, Continental, Forvia, and Bosch, and supporting sales efforts with German subsidiaries of non-German Tier-1s. They will need to navigate complex automotive organizations, identify decision-makers, develop strong relationships with executive-level decision-makers, and create strategic sales plans in collaboration with Sonatus’ OEMs sales teams. The role also includes winning PoCs and SoP projects, identifying product co-development opportunities, maintaining up-to-date account plans and forecasts, and coordinating activities between various departments such as Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and Legal.
