Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 5-7 years of relevant experience in research techniques and solutions within Tech & Durables, Consulting, Information, Sales, Analytics, or similar fields. Specific industry experience in Consumer Technical Goods (IT, Telecomm, Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances) is strongly preferred, though CPG/FMCG backgrounds may be considered. Media industry experience is preferred. A proven track record of delivering commercial targets, experience in scoping and developing proposals, and strong negotiation strategies are essential. Effective senior-level communication, influencing, and presentation skills, along with strong client focus, a drive to close deals, result-orientation, and good interpersonal and relationship-building skills are required. Strong oral and written communication skills, including cultural intelligence for a global environment, are critical. Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research is a plus, and willingness to travel is necessary.
The Global Account Director will own client relationships for existing long-term accounts and develop new business opportunities with both existing and new clients. They will align key customer priorities with NIQ's capabilities, identify and convert opportunities to deepen commercial relationships, drive additional revenue, and surpass annual regional sales targets. Responsibilities include driving value for clients through the implementation of NIQ solutions, establishing NIQ as a trusted business partner, developing sales strategies including white spots and cross-selling, and leading contract negotiations. The role involves developing proposals to NIQ standards, maintaining communication with regional and local sales associates, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, fostering C-suite level relationships for upsell opportunities, demonstrating knowledge of client and market trends to identify growth opportunities, communicating NIQ thought leadership, identifying potential problems and proposing solutions, and appropriately using CRM/CIDB for sales forecasts and client financials.
