Smucker Foods of Canada Corp., a subsidiary of The J.M. Smucker Co., is seeking a Bilingual Territory Manager, Sales Sector. This role reports to the Regional Sales Director and is responsible for representing Smucker's foodservice products, programs, and services in the Montreal, Western Quebec, Northern Montreal, and Ottawa regions. The primary focus will be on coffee products, serving foodservice clients in the healthcare, gaming, lodging, and other targeted sectors. The Territory Manager will collaborate with internal teams (marketing, equipment and service, national account managers) and external partners (foodservice brokers, distributors, national account representatives, and group purchasing organizations) to maintain and grow Smucker's business within their territory.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, plan, and execute coverage of the designated territory through in-person or virtual client meetings.
  • Achieve sales targets by prospecting new clients and utilizing a "retention and growth" strategy.
  • Lead the sales process from start to finish, including prospecting, sales presentations, equipment recommendations, installation support, training, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with industry partners by effectively engaging Smucker sales teams, broker sales teams, distributor representatives, and national account/group purchasing organization sales teams.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, product tastings, and product/equipment demonstrations.
  • Diligently complete administrative tasks within regular deadlines, including CRM system updates, equipment orders, sales reports, and expense reports.

Requirements

  • Combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Minimum of two years of sales experience within the foodservice or hospitality industry.
  • Experience in the beverage and healthcare sectors is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce CRM platform is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
