Description: Drive the growth of the Genetic Sciences Division (Capillary Electrophoresis Sequencing, Quantitative Real Time PCR, Digital PCR, and Micro Array technologies) in the Southern Africa region. Manage a portfolio including instruments, services, and associated consumables, ensuring a flawless reflection of Thermo Fisher Scientifics’ image. Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets with a consistent record of sales success. Provide the company with timely and relevant market information to determine strategies for product development. Develop and efficiently implement business strategies to achieve daring revenue targets. Impact the sales of products, both currently and in the future, by contending effectively in the market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the life sciences industry, particularly in genetic sciences.
  • Consistent track record to achieve sales targets and drive growth in a competitive market.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to provide market insights and develop strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
