Requirements

5-7+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in customer-facing roles at a product-driven technology company
Proven experience building and shipping production-grade backend services in languages like Java, Go, or Python
Demonstrated expertise in designing, deploying, and managing scalable and secure infrastructure in a major cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Practical experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

Work with customers and other Rogo Engineers to design and implement scalable solutions that solve their most difficult problems
Design abstractions to solve customer problems and scale speed and quality of delivery across Forward Deployed engagements
Collaborate closely with Sales, Solutions Architects, and Customer Success Managers to deploy Rogo’s specialized AI infrastructure
Work with Research and Product teams to provide insightful customer feedback
Act as a trusted technical advisor by embedding with strategic customers to understand their business challenges, workflows, and technical requirements
Architect and develop scalable, data-intensive applications and robust abstractions that solve customer-specific issues and can be scaled across the customer base
Liaise between customers and core engineering teams to facilitate customer-specific solutions
Own the end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle for customer Rogo deployments, from initial provisioning and configuration to production optimization
Maintain Terraform modules, Helm charts, and automation scripts to deploy and manage bespoke Rogo Kubernetes clusters adhering to customer security and compliance requirements
Act as the voice of the customer to core engineering and research teams, shaping the product roadmap
Partner with Sales during late sales cycle stages to lead technical validation and architect proofs-of-concept for strategic prospects
Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Customer Success Managers for seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales and long-term customer value
