Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in financial operations, general operations, strategic finance, or accounting. Demonstrated ability to manage complex reconciliation and billing processes is required, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills. Comfort working with data teams and basic SQL or reporting tools, or a strong willingness to learn, is also necessary. A meticulous attention to detail is highly valued, and prior involvement in designing billing or revenue systems, exposure to ERP/accounting tools and automation, experience with an accounting month end close, an accounting degree, and/or a CPA license are considered nice-to-have qualifications.
The Finance Operations Manager will interpret contractual financial terms, translate them into actionable rulesets for invoicing, payouts, rebates, and revenue share calculations. They will own and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting for billing and payment validation, work with the data team for accurate data ingestion, and proactively resolve discrepancies. This role involves driving the monthly reconciliation process for complex product lines, reviewing billed, paid, and received amounts, and creating/iterating on reporting for optimization. The manager will also collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to stay ahead of contract updates and changes, and build/maintain documentation for scalability and auditability.
