Position Overview

Dandy is revolutionizing the dental industry by simplifying and modernizing practice operations through technology. As a Field Trainer, you will be instrumental in driving the successful adoption of Dandy's digital dentistry solutions by leading impactful, in-person training sessions. This field-based role requires up to 85% travel and focuses on empowering dental practices to confidently embrace intraoral scanning and digital workflows. You will act as a trusted clinical advisor, guiding clinicians, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders to improve clinical performance and accelerate early success with Dandy's technology.

Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Clinical Coaching

• Lead high-touch, in-person trainings to support doctors and staff in adopting intraoral scanning and digital workflows.
• Coach teams based on live observation, reinforcing best practices and adapting in real-time to meet practice goals and maturity levels.
• Drive early case submission during training by removing blockers, reinforcing clinical urgency, and building confidence.

Clinical Advisory & Post-Training Analysis

• Partner with clinicians and practice leaders to reinforce scanning habits and support early adoption.
• Monitor outcomes in the first 30 days and identify targeted coaching opportunities to accelerate success.
• Share field insights to inform scalable resources, improve onboarding, and strengthen future trainings.

Practice Readiness & Operational Alignment

• Assess readiness across clinical workflows, team structure, and equipment to proactively identify blockers or risks.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the right resources, messaging, and tools are in place before training.
• Customize training strategies based on practice size, complexity, and clinical goals.

Requirements

• Clinical Training Experience: 3+ years of experience delivering clinical training in digital dentistry or dental technology, with strong familiarity with intraoral scanning and digital workflows.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness and enthusiasm to travel up to 85% to deliver in-practice training and support.
• Proximity to Travel Hubs: Located near a major airport (LAX) to support frequent national travel. Must be within a 60-minute drive.
• Leadership Presence: Comfortable partnering with senior leaders, clinicians, and staff across roles to influence behavior and drive adoption.
• In-Person Agility: Comfortable operating independently in the field, adjusting plans in real-time based on practice dynamics and needs.
• Operational Expertise: 3+ years managing training logistics, readiness assessments, and multi-practice coordination in fast-paced environments.
• Strong Communicator: Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to adjust tone and approach based on audience.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for helping practices succeed, with a solutions-oriented approach to onboarding, training, and adoption.
